One of the most advanced chronograph watches made by Citizen, the Eco-Drive Calibre 2100 men's titanium watch also offers stylish lines that nicely complement both business and casual couture. The chronograph timing function includes 60-minute, 12-hour, and independent second-hand subdials, as well as a center sweep 1/5-second hand. It also has a reset button that instantly returns all the chronograph registers to zero. The watch case and bracelet band links are made of titanium--which is nearly 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It's also particularly resistant to salt water corrosion, as well as hypo-allergenic--perfect for those with metal allergies.
This large, round watch has a thin, flattened bezel with an exterior tachymeter reading in gray. The patterned dark gray dial face is accented by black subdials, and it offers white luminous Dauphine hands (with seconds hand) and a date function at 4 o'clock. The bracelet band is joined by a push-button clasp. Other features include a screw-back case, screw-down crown, scratch resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 660 feet (200 meters).
This watch is powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. This watch's Eco-Drive provides a 240-day power reserve, and it can be recharged with just 3.5 hours of exposure to light.

They put sapphires on their Asian Ti models.... Sapphire can only be scratched by sapphire, Ruby, or Diamond. Mineral can be scratched by almost anything. Mineral is a bit better shatterproof, but the tradeoff is not worth it considering most people scratch their crystals rahter than shatter them. The dial is HUGE and I have to wear it carefully. Having a sapphire would be much less stressful. Put it this way, you vould drag a sapphire crystall watch against concrete and it wouldn't scratch the crystal. Try that with mineral. BTW the sapphire crystal is NOT that expensive and I have seen them on $300 watches. That aside, the watch is awesome. The Ecodrive is an awesome technology. This and Seiko's kinetic is the ONLY quartz I would buy. I couldn't be bothered with battery changes. I usually stick to mechanical watches, with focus on Swiss... Got the watch today, the size of the watch is about 10-15% bigger than regular watch sold in the market. Due to it's size, I would only recommand you get it in Titanium...unless you build like Aronold. S.S. Version is about 6.5oz more than 1/3 lbs Big Watch has it's advantage of being easy to read. The Picture on Amazon does not do Calibre 2100 Titanium Watch any justice. It look much better in person. The Craftmanship was superb, one of the few watch that's still being hand assembled in Japan. Links was well designed. 5 Star Watch **Note** This watch come with 5 years warranty...other company only give you 1-3 years warranty. Most of the reviews can be found in the non-Titanium, non-Blue-Angels models. I just need to add a couple things. (I own this Blue Angels Titanium model). TITANIUM-SPECIFIC PART: The Titanium version is much lighter! I compared it against a stainless steel model. The difference is huge. I know what most guys are thinking, "unlike this reviewer, I'm a real man who can handle an extra ounce on my wrist." FYI I consider myself pretty athletic. But I appreciate not feeling the watch on my wrist most of the time. Bottom-line: it's a personal choice. Titanium is lighter, stronger, and personally makes me feel better about this watch. Stainless steel is cheaper and gets the job done. NON-TITANIUM-SPECIFIC PART - WATER RESISTANCE: The product description says "water resistant depth: 660 ft". After the realization my first lasted me 10 plus years of daily wear, I made a point of it. I'm almost 60 now. That first one was a water resistant chronograph model good to 330 feet under water, and it really saw rough treatment as I never took it off much for other than baths. I even once smashed the mineral glass crystal and had it replaced. I also had to have the metal bracelet segment pins replaced once as they had worn out. Still, no other watch I've ever owned has been able to stand up to such abuse for more than a year, such as the abuse I gave that first Citizen. I've owned all types, expensive Swiss jeweled movement and quartz, and not so expensive, and none of them has ever approached giving me the service I've gotten from my Citizen watches.
